999 a popular Chinese TCM pharmaceutical brand.

One of their star product is the cold and flu medicine 感冒清热冲剂,

which you need to take before major symptoms break out

with lots of hot water (of course).

Last year, they asked me to help them illustrate different consumer behaviors as mini storyboards.

The most interesting part of this project was learning and adapting to new behaviors after the pandemic and the lift of restrictions that had been in place across China for the past few years.

All businesses have to adapt to new trends, but also to find the right way to communicate about it!

I also really enjoyed focusing on expression and storytelling.

The main purpose of these scenarios were to imagine different consumers and their singular motivations for using the 999 product. 

It was so fun to get into their heads, and even more fun to illustrate!
